Client: Minnesota IT Services (MNIT)

Description:

The State of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) Salesforce Center of Excellence engages with State of Minnesota Agencies to develop and migrate existing licensing applications to the Salesforce platform. In Addition, the Salesforce CoE develops custom applications that are needed by agencies to fulfill their business needs using the Salesforce Platform. Examples of application functionality include Professional and Occupational Licensing, Customer Relationship Management, Enforcements and Inspections, Technical Certifications and others. These are all hosted within the Salesforce for Government Cloud. The State is seeking a Salesforce Developer with APEX development and API experience that will assist the MNIT Salesforce team and and work with application owners to migrate or develop applications on the Salesforce platform. The resource will also provide support assistance for existing applications that were developed. Work will consist of planning, configuration, documentation, testing and support of the applications throughout the development process.

Minimum Qualifications
• Five (5) years experience in Developer/Programmer role
o A Masters degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, or an Associates degree substitutes for one year
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role using Salesforce
• Four (4) years experience with Apex Development in Salesforce
• Four (4) years experience with the Salesforce Platform and performing configuration
• Three (3) years experience developing APIs
Desired Skills
• Proven experience as a programmer or relevant role
• Experience with BasicGov
• Delivery of projects using the Agile SCRUM methodology
• Detail-oriented and excellent concentration ability
• An analytical mindset and critical thinking
• Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
