The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the design and development of a state-of-the-art robotic control system for grocery supply chain automation. Design and develop reactive micro-services to process customer orders, control and coordinate swarms of robots, and integrate with customer APIs. 2. Collaborate with a cross-functional team (electrical, mechanical, systems, and safety) to define software requirements. 3. Develop and review modular, well-documented software. 4. Develop software unit-tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests. Required Skills: 1. 7+ years of experience in Core Java development (version 8 or above) 2. Experience developing scalable, reactive micro-services (Akka, Spring Boot or similar) 3. Experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or similar) 4. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) 5. Experience with unit testing (Junit, Mockito or similar) 6. Experience working within an Agile environment 7. B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area Desired Skills (not required but candidate will have exposure to these skills in this role): 1. Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB or similar) 2. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes 3.
