Job Description Developer: Core Java, SQL, Linux, PERL Unix

Description :

The position is for a Core Java developer to work in the Operational Risk Capital development team.
The client applies a Basel Advanced Modeling Approaches (AMA) methodology for calculating Operational Risk Capital.
Capital is calculated using a Java Calculation Engine that sources data from DB2 and invokes Matlab functions across a Grid server farm to simulate Regulatory capital charges.

Responsibilities will include working with BAs and project leads to understand requirements, designing, implementing, testing and deploying Capital Engine components using Java, CXF, Flex, and DB2 UDB.
A strong knowledge of Linux, SQL, and Web technologies is required. Hands-On Flex experience is a plus.

5+ Years RDBMS/SQL experience
5+ Years Linux/Unix/ksh/Perl experience
Excellent analytical ability
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Good Math/Statistics knowledge
