Job Description Developer: Core Java, SQL Server 2005/2008, SDLC, .NET

[Note : Start Date : 02-13-2012
End Date : 08-13-2012]

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed technical design document, and develop and implement applications per function design specifications given by a BA

Create test plans and test cases, and perform unit, integration and regression testing

Create deployment documents with the list of deployment items and test documents

Create operating procedures documents

Participate in post-implementation reviews

Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems

Qualifications:

Seasoned developer with extensive experience in financial services industry, preferably in investment asset management: buy-side or sell-side experience highly desired

Core Java, SQL Server 2005/2008, Stored Procedures, Window command lines. Perl scripts (preferred), Unix command lines and scripts
JMS (Java Message Service), XML, IBM MQ Series, WebSphere, Spring framework

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical abilities

Experience in SDLC

.NET, C#, SSIS/SSAS and Web Services is a big plus
