Description : --------------------------------------------- This position is expected to extend beyond its current timeframe to an ongoing role. This senior consultant is for a Cloud Security Engineer that will audit and apply security controls to existing and future cloud environments. Candidate should have prior experience with AWS and Azure and have a strong background in information security. Candidate would be expected to implement a Policy as Code approach to security and integrate security notifications with existing solutions like SIEM and EDR. This position is for a senior engineer who would be capable of planning, documenting, and implementing controls with minimal guidance and/or training. Candidate should have prior experience with AWS and Azure. Additional Cloud-based tools experience is considered to be important (see skills section) Additional desired skills include experience with the following: AWS: • CloudFormation • Security Hub • GuardDuty • Certificate Manager • Secrets Manager • IAM • CloudTrail • SNS • SES • Security Groups Azure: • Security Center • Advisor • Network Security Groups • Resource Groups General Security: • PKI • Firewalls / Access Control Lists • Network Protocols • SIEM • WAF • NIST Controls This will be a hybrid position where the candidate will need to be onsite 3 days per week.
