Job Description : The Data Assessments and Controls (DAC) team is transforming the way that the organization sources, uses and manages data. Data Assessments and Controls team provides support to First Line of Defense partners (Line of Business and functional support teams) to design and implement solutions for collecting, managing, and consuming quality data. The DAC team provides the following key functions to support the EIS Data Remediation mission: • Policy Guidance and Support for EIS Data • Data Initiative Prioritization • Data Source Assessment & Remediation • Master and Reference data Source Assessment and Remediation • Metadata capture and solution Implementation • Data Issue Triage & Disposition The Data Analyst will be part of EIS Data Assessments and Controls team and will be working on multiple initiatives within the group and in partnership with teams outside the group. Primary responsibilities within this role includes among other things: • Lead medium and high priority data remediation efforts for risk and regulatory reporting requirements, business data needs and business processes that impact the Enterprise. • Lead the in depth analysis and sizing of medium and high priority data needs, understanding the impact of each need to Risk and Regulatory reports. • Drive the design of near term solutions where appropriate. Solutions may require solving for a combination of policy and process gaps, designing new tools / systems or enhancing existing tools or systems, enhancing or correcting reporting logic, modifying data feeds, and/or correcting or enhancing data controls. . • Drive the development of prototypes or proof-of-concepts as appropriate. • Collaborate with stakeholders (including but not limited to technology partners) to define requirements and drive the implementation of solutions that resolve data needs, meet business needs, and satisfy regulatory requirements (where applicable). • Build relationships and work with key internal partners. • Provide data analysis support to audit and regulatory agencies, as necessary. • Autonomously execute assessments or remediation plans as dictated by management, or collaborate with a team aligned against the same goals. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; • 5+ years of SQL experience • 5+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience • Strong knowledge of Abinitio Metadata Tool • Strong knowledge of Collibra Metadata Tool • Strong Data Governance background • Strong Knowledge of Master data and Reference data • BCBS 239 Principles • Data Quality experience Desired Qualifications • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment • Ability to prepare and present senior level communications • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on critical information security data • Good quantitative analysis skills including statistics • Knowledge and understanding of Information Security operations/ Reporting • Big Data experience • Outstanding problem solving skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
