Responsible for backup restore, performance tuning, security management, security management, capacity planning, and standards development. Monitor databases and proactively optimize system performance. Aide in the adoption of automation practices across various platforms and domains. Able to participate in an on-call rotation with other DBAs. Bachelors Degree or work related equivalent. Technologies for Senior DB2 DBA: 5+ years of experience as a DB2 LUW DBA. Experience with Payments Platforms such as Zelle is highly preferred. Working experience of Work Load Manager (WLM) and how it relates to DB2 LUW environments. Advanced knowledge of DB2 LUW HADR, RBAC, and troubleshooting. Strong with installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, maintaining, and backup and recovery. Advanced knowledge in SQL and shell scripting. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Desired State Configuration, and CI/CD. Intermediate knowledge of Oracle or MS SQL Server. Exposure to technology stacks like Storage, Network, OS and databases.
