We have a 30-month project with our client in Brooklyn, NY that requires a Senior Database Administrator To provide support to maintain critical Life Safety services on OMHs statewide campuses Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Working with PBX and new Communication Server platform of telecommunications devices covering installation, upgrading and support utilizing system Management tools. Configuration and ordering of carrier services for use within the telecommunications and data Communications network onto a campus. Specification and installation of telecommunications infrastructure including fiber, copper, telecommunications closets for voice and data. Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer. 60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 64 Months Experience with specification and administration (including MACs, call accounting, upgrading, user support) AVAYA and Nortel server systems. 60 Months Experience in campus level and station cabling infrastructure using structure cabling techniques and best practices specifications for code compliance and termination for data and voice. 48 Months Experience as Project Manager for strategic planning telecommunications projects exceeding 500 port counts for both data and voice with WAN and provider connections. 48 Months Experience with specifying, designing, and supporting telecommunications carrier services. 36 Months Experience with specifications, administration, and user support of Cisco VoIP Communications systems. 36 Months Customer service experience by providing direct customer support including user documentation and tracking using ITIL procedures.
