The candidate will be responsible for creation and administration of Oracle EBS R12 and 11i environments along with 11g and 12c databases in standalone and primary/standby configuration. He/she must have substantial hands-on technical experience in addition to strong conceptual knowledge about Oracle E-business Suite and Oracle database, and underlying architecture and fundamentals. Duties and responsibilities are focused on EBS management and administration, including infrastructure strategy, design, deployment, monitoring and maintenance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and support Oracle E-business Suite R12/11i and Oracle 11gR2/12c databases Be the primary technical staff responsible for cloning, code deployment and migration, applying patches and providing user support for Oracle E-business Suite environments Build and support physical standby databases Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures using RMAN Adhere and improve “best practices” documentation Perform health checks and proactive monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and UNIX shell scripts Establishes and enforces all database standards and integrity Implement and maintain EBS/database security Interface with Oracle Support for technical issue resolution Be on site during normal working hours and to provide occasional after hours 24x7 support. Remote access options are available to accommodate after hours support. Experience required - 6+ years Oracle E-business Suite administration supporting a production environment; Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control for monitoring databases; Must possess specifically experiences with Oracle Replication using Oracle Data Guard; Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle; Expertise in Oracle 11g/12c, related utilities and tools like Oracle SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Import/Export, RMAN, Enterprise Manager; Demonstrated experience in development of long-term database strategies for the enterprise environment to stay current with technology and provide the required functionality to the organization and as well as adherence to Change Control procedures and policies; Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn attitude is required; Familiarity with large IT budgeted projects, data center migration efforts, and designing disaster recovery procedures.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
