Position Details: The role will be specifically on the Defense Optimization team and will responsible for ensuring DLP security tools are leveraged through integration opportunities. Provide hands-on escalation and remediation for critical issues. Proactively communicate relevant technical information and alerts on known issues, hot fixes, new releases, etc. Liaise with Vendor Support, Engineering, Product Management, and others within any given Vendors organization on behalf of the client. Thought leadership to improve Data Protection capabilities and ensure the Information Security Policy is understood and adhered to. Interfacing with various groups across the organization to drive remediation. Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of information security experience. Experience with assisting in the hands-on implementation of multiple DLP solutions. Experience with providing DLP subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Experience with documenting DLP processes and procedures. Experience with providing guidance, recommendations, best practices, etc. for DLP operations. Experience with managing and tuning data loss prevention platforms to ensure optimal coverage, thresholds, and workflows. Innovation experience to build upon data loss prevention foundation to begin development of an insider threat behavioral analysis capability. Experience with stabilizing and optimizing DLP system performance, including rules and reports. Experience with assisting with DLP component testing and configuration. Experience with identifying, analyzing, and developing mitigation guidance for threats and vulnerabilities. Reasonable understanding of attack vectors, cyber threats, and methods of exploitation. Experience with DLP incident handling, remediation, and reporting. Experience with vulnerability and Indicator of Compromise (IOC) classification. Experience with use case development and security defense process improvements. Understanding of File Share Access. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication, strong presentation, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize. Knowledge of MS Office Products Preferred Qualifications: It is preferred the candidate has a thorough understanding of Symantec DLP, Microsoft DLP, and McAfee DLP. Skyhigh DLP, iBoss DLP, and Cloud security within Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure. Understanding of Open System Interconnection (OSI) model and network protocols a plus. Prior DLP/Information Security operational analysis experience using Symantec, or equivalent enterprise solutions is a plus.
