This SOW is issued by HPE in support of HPEs customers project (name "Project").
This area will also outline the standard service offerings and support location.
HPE has an ongoing contract to provide Application Expansion Support for the Defense Medical Logistics Enterprise System (DMLES), a system owned by the DOD Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This includes work in the full software development lifecycle.

The DLA Troop Support Philadelphia perform world-wide medical supply chain management for DoD medical materiel and supplies directly supporting warfighters in theatre and their families at home. The DMLES-DLA is a suite of information technology applications that enables all dimensions of Defense Medical Logistics operations and support

Specifically for this solicitation, the support needed is for a .Net Developer as noted in the Project Summary.

The supplier/subcontractor will provide support as a .net developer for the Application Expansion Project.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION OF CANDIDATE NEEDED:
The successful candidate will participate in a faced-paced, dynamic team environment supporting a U.S. Government contract that provides development and sustainment support for the defense medical supply chain. The position involves the development and sustainment of .Net applications utilizing ASP and C#. The candidate will need strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, and extensive experience working in a formal system development lifecycle environment. The resource will participate in the following activities:

Will develop applications, tools and systems from requirements created by the Lead Analyst and that will be located in the Visual Studio Team System(VSTS). Development will be done utilizing C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Oracle and other Microsoft and DLA tools. A formal systems life cycle methodology will be followed. Development will include extractions, validations, transformations, web services, presentation layer and rules engine.
Will participate in team meetings and client interviews to clarify requirements, peer reviews and project planning.

The contractor will develop software applications in support of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) modernization activities. This includes, but is not limited to, programming, documenting, and moving customer requirements to a functioning application. The contractor will ensure all development efforts adhere to program guidelines and directives, risk is mitigated, documentation is complete, and timelines managed for the development work.

The contractor will support life-cycle documentation of the software build process including, but not limited to, functional and technical specifications, systems interface documents, interface control documents, and all other system documentation specified in the Software Lifecyc1e Management and Review Objectives (SLMRO) documents in effect for DMLSS-W or mandated by higher headquarters direction

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree and 10+ years developing systems and web applications utilizing Microsoft tools.
