MUST BE AVAILBLE TO WORK 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD SHIFTS JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will provide 24X7 Windows system administration and will have a strong technical background with experience working on medium to large sized teams. Provide immediate response and/or investigation of system alerts as a senior level troubleshooter in a complex network environment. Monitors system performance and take proactive corrective action to insure maximum system availability is achieved. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide senior level windows system support for troubleshooting and resolving system related incidents, providing assistance to peer members to identify, isolate, restore and apply long term corrective action. • Work across several teams (system engineering, security, and networking) to restore service rapidly during an incident. • Analyze the root cause of incidents and implement permanent resolutions. • Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvement. • Create in-depth documentation of processes and system configuration. • Provide and receive cross training from immediate support team. • Drive Continual Service Improvement. • All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION High School Diploma Required Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred, or equivalent job related experience. Job Related Experience required. A minimum of five years experience supporting Windows servers to include but not limited to the following: • Excellent commendation skills, well spoken, ability to deal with internal clients and managers at various levels, work with engineers & vendors when needed. • Must be outgoing, self-starter and be able to resolve complex issues with limited supervision or direction. • Excellent oral, written, analytical skills. ** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting ** Can submit only Green Card and Citizens ** Can submit at higher rate *** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays *** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times DT - Hours worked on Sundays • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees. • Must be self-motivated and able to think “outside the box. • Proficient in AD, DNS, DHCP, ADREPL, AD Trust, GPO, etc. • Experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS6, IIS7.5. • MS Clustering experience with SQL servers and applications. • SSL certificate exposure. • In-depth understanding of storage and networking technologies. • Server performance tuning, and memory crash dump analysis. • Scripting experience is a plus.
