Duties include administration of Windows and Linux servers, responding to incidents and requests, work closely with CSC Business owners to ensure problem resolution. Also responsible for support of onsite telephony equipment and networking. Systems Engineers identify any problem in the agency systems, anticipate potential issues and take corrective action as need. Other duties and responsibilities may include: ? CSC user set-up ? Windows and Linux server administration ? Troubleshoot agency systems and telephony issues and root cause analysis System Engineer Skills & Qualifications ? Ability to solve problems in stressful situations ? Strong attention to detail ? Communication Skills ? Ability to explain technical concepts ? Time management The ideal Systems Engineer will have experience with databases, networks, upgrading software, troubleshooting. They will up to date on security protocols and be able to assist users when a suspicious email is received or request for sensitive information.
