Coordinates across multiple technology organizations to plan, design and implement cost-effective technology solutions to solve complex business problems while ensuring alignment with Uniteds IT strategy . Understands a high-availability, high-performance environment and performs work to those standards Works with project management to achieve project implementation on time and on budget; commits to and meets project milestones and costs. Accountable for the partnering with Enterprise Architecture in the joint development of convergence related technology/services architectures and standards. Accountable for detailed designs based on the committed architecture and standards. Leads and coordinates the engineering phases of Windows solutions delivery including planning, design, build, testing, ordering and transition to production support. Accountable for partnering with various groups for development of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Ability to work with and coordinate multiple vendors is essential. Must have excellent written/presentation skills in order to document standards, policies, and long term roadmaps "REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Windows servers in large enterprise, multi-datacenter environments exceeding 50K users. 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Windows clustering solutions 5+ experience with group policy, especially security policies 5+ years leading Windows server based initiatives for complex, global organizations. Senior level experience of Windows DNS, DHCP and WINS, including hosts and lmhosts files Senior level experience of protocols such as: Kerberos, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, Routing (RIP, OSPF) Senior level experience of Windows server operating systems (NT/2000/2003/2008/2008 R2) Senior level experience of server hardware: HP, Dell, and IBM to include blade technologies Must possess advanced troubleshooting skills including: AD replication, FRS issues Experience integrating Windows environments with 3rd party DNS servers (e.g. Infoblox) PREFFERED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Windows Certificate services and PKI Firewall experience LDAP and Secure LDAP Scripting VB Script, PowerShell, Batch Networking Hardware LAN Cards, NIC Teaming, Switches Advanced Microsoft and Cisco certifications REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science or Engineering Current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
