Job Description : Must-Have Skills: Experience with the web-based State of NV Child Welfare Case Management system UNITY. Working knowledge of the Clark County Department of Family Services. Knowledge of Child welfare business process and SACWIS/CWIS compliant Child Welfare System. Current and historical knowledge of data fields in the State of NVs SACWIS/CWIS child welfare system and assist in testing and implementing any changes into IBM/COGNOS. Experience in IBM/COGNOS SPSS software and predictive analytics; Creating and presenting the analytic results. Identify gaps between business requirements and data architecture and propose solutions to resolve or shorten gaps. Ability to use SQL to create data items in child welfare reporting. Requirements gathering with Child Welfare business users to design custom solutions including enterprise data warehouses, reports, dashboards, and cubes. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets related to local and federal child welfare data and/or statistics. Design and develop custom reports using all the COGNOS suites. Training end users in the IBM/COGNOS tools and the solutions. Training end users (report writers) in the use of COGNOS tools and running reports. Must be able to train beginning to advanced report writers. Experience with Diona mobility software. Mapping the current case management system to Diona, creating forms in Diona, testing and implementing Diona in a production environment. Skilled in maintaining ongoing publications as well as ad hoc compilations of reports and combining them with Adobe Professional as well as other software for presentation to the Department of Family Services, executive management, and external stakeholders including County management.
