The Enterprise Architect is responsible for creating enterprise technology strategies, architectures and technical plans that are aligned with our clients mission, strategy, goals, and objectives. Roles : * Lead business and technology stakeholders in developing technology architectures, strategies, and plans that align with and across the organizations multiple lines of business. * Develop and maintain future state technology architectures and transition roadmaps which meet the enterprise needs as identified in the gaps and opportunities assessment. * Synchronize enterprise technology roadmaps with technology research and planning agendas. * Develop solution architectures for complex, highly visible (i.e. Tier 1) business initiatives. Required Skills : * 10+ years of IT experience including development of large scale, complex system architectures * Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in leading and mentoring technical staff in the development and usage of technology architectures and solutions. * Extensive knowledge and experience in one or more technical domains (e.g. application architecture, data management/architecture, technology infrastructures and networking architecture, etc.) * Strong knowledge of architectural and design techniques including OO, structured analysis, and component based design approaches. Desired Skills : * Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, and skillful at facilitation and negotiation. * Effective team player with strong emotional intelligence self awareness, confidence, ability to manage conflict, empathy. * Ability to effectively respond to technical questions and issues ie, effective in communicating complex technology concepts to diverse (both technical and non-technical) audiences at all levels in the organization. * Passion for technology, with an ability to understand and assess new technologies, and their potential applicability to business needs in an efficient, effective manner. * Experience with enterprise architecture modeling toolsets such as MEGA, Troux, or others.
