As a result, we need services to support the development of a self-service portal that allows applicants to create an account, be screened for identification match, pre-screen for benefits, apply for benefits, check their program case status, report changes, and read/reply to communications via an Omni-channel environment. (Telephone, Web, In-person, Mail) Vendors must have experience with implementing Service Now and integration of Mainframe Tools as well as other external tools mentioned within this document. Finally, the vendor should provide a reference that can attest to the experience of a ServiceNow implementation with the vendor. Background Today, the ability to apply for several services provided by TDHS is only available by the paper that needs to be delivered to the TDHS Office. TDHS does have an online presence for a limited number of programs; however, we are not able to verify identity or repetitive submissions which open the opportunity for more substantial fraud findings and duplicative work for our team members. Our goal is to modernize the current infrastructure of applications in order to better serve our customer population by providing alternative opportunities to engage with TDHS that make applying for services easier and more efficient. This SOW defines the foundational work that will need to be completed prior to the development and implementation of the new tools. The preferred project management tool/process to use would be Agile where applicable. Tools: 1. ODS- Operational Data Store 2. BOX 3. Service Now 4. Red Hat Fuse 5. LexisNexis 6. IMI, In Contact 7. Develop a Technology Architechual design document to include: • Existing and future state application infrastructure • Design for the build-out of an ODS (MPI): o In an effort to have a data set that is customer focused, we will need a data store that has information about a client that could be a participant in multiple programs. While each of the programs may/will continue to use software specific to their programs the account identifying data and summary account information should be maintained within this Data Store. • Design for the build-out of a SNOW External and Internal Portals • Integration plan for tools to be used in the DHS Modernization Projects1. 2. Develop guidelines for the development and management of APIs and Services that may be used. 3. Create UI/UX initial design plans for SNOW Portal implementation. 4. Develop guidelines for Requirements/User Stories gathering and management 5. Deliver a plan for staff skills development and training.
