Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. 2. Under limited supervision, modifies moderate to complex application programs from detail specifications. 3. Under limited supervision, codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. * Creates a complex design document through the assessment of requirements. Assesses alternatives to different designs and selects best solution to fit business needs. Reads, interprets, creates and maintains complex conceptual, logical and physical models to include context diagrams, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, data dictionaries and logical flow charts. 4. Assists in ensuring that system improvements are successfully implemented. Resolves complex design issues utilizing software development lifecycle and development methods. 5. Develops multiple, modular objects and the messaging interface between objects to create a complex software package. Reuses objects and creates object inventories. 6. Performs complex queries and updates of tables. Performs complex data modeling and database design with minimal oversight. 7. Defines requirements for application infrastructure including scalability, reliability, availability and serviceability and the trade-offs of each. 8. Performs analysis on new release features and analyze impact on the application and customers business process. Participates in potential vendor product/service evaluations to ensure technical requirements and performance measures are met. 9. Performs moderate to complex application administration and support. 10. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Education Required: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree(s). Years and Type of Experience Required: * Requires a minimum of 5 years of Analysis and Design experience. * Requires a minimum of 5 years of Data Modeling experience. Specific Technical Skills Required: * Strong Business Analysis and problem solving skills. * Strong understanding of data integration concepts. * Erwin Data Modeling Experience, ER Studio, star schema, snow flake. * Must have experience working with 4 terabyte database at a Minimum. * Understanding of multiple data architectures that can support a Data Warehouse. * Exposure to healthcare payor and claims data. * Experience in various data requirements elicitation, analysis and validation techniques * Familiarity with data analysis artifacts and tools. * Data Warehouse and enterprise data architecture planning and strategy * Experience in designing enterprise level logical and physical data models that capture complex data relationships for data warehousing. * Experience with logical multi-dimensional physical data models. * Experience with T-SQL & PL/SQL * Experience with Informatica Powercenter * Experience with DTS and SSIS * Demonstrates understanding of the inter-relationship among various IT applications and systems. * Demonstrates advanced proficiency with all applicable company supported software applications. * Able to develop and manage a project with direction and supervision. * Demonstrates a thorough understanding of infrastructure associated with supported applications. * Understands   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
