Data Modeler Tableau IT Management QA Services Consultant (Jobs in Portland, OR)   Requirement id 72959 Job title Consultant Job location in Portland, OR Skills required Data Modeler, ETL Developer, Tableau, IT Management QA Services Open Date 31-Aug-2018 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 12 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Consultant: Data Modeler, ETL Developer, Tableau, IT Management QA Services Candidate must be our W2 Employee Job Description : Data Modeler Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage operation of a data lake and related services Actively work with internal and external customers to analyze business data needs, gather and document business and data architecture requirements Collaborate with IT architecture team, project architects to provide solutions Collaborate with Data Modelers team, ETL Developers team to provide solutions Develop, implement and maintain a data governance regime Develop, implement and maintain a metadata solution and associated processes Ensure highest levels of data accessibility, security, and quality in the environment Provide tier 2/3 technical support Lead product enhancement efforts, including documentation and design Act as primary contact on open issues and questions about the data lake Assemble and facilitate review and approval of business data requirements Facilitate meetings and document the outcome Provide customer support functions as needed, including hands-on technical problem solving, ticketing, and customer follow up Provide advanced technical, systems development and QA services to solve complex business needs including written detailed technical specifications for developers, use cases, and test plans Plan and manage development activities on small IT projects including facilitation of all IT work estimates Interact with management and Sr. management on special projects and Proof of Concept development Communicate status to all stakeholders Provide user training Keep current on latest Big Data technologies and products, including hands on evaluations and in-depth research Follow all IT General Controls and IT Security Policy standards Key Interfaces: IT Management IT BSAs IT Technical Resources Key Suppliers Business end users and management Enterprise IT Global Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 2 years of related experience OR an associates degree with 4 years of related experience OR 8 years of related experience required At least 2-3 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required Should have closely work with Data modelers and ETL developers - Required End to End Data warehouse (Big Data) implementation experience is must An attached resume is required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required Ability to analyze and document business and system processes is required Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence tool is required Ability to multitask and handle ambiguity is required Ability to take charge and lead tasks to completion is required Ability to work in a cross-functional organization is required Ability to work in a team environment is required Excellent decision making and problem solving skills is required Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred Solid understanding of SQL concepts and ability to write simple to moderately complicated queries is required.
