Without this data, the Plan, and the Plans actuaries are unable to forecast expenses or monitor trends. By analyzing this data, the Plan is also able to identify potential wellness pilots, structure new plan design features and in some cases, to detect fraud and abuse. Required Skills: • ETL and data management experience with includes data warehousing and business intelligence principles. • Experience with relational databases • Familiar with various eligibility, pharmacy, and medical claims data file formats. • Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 and/or 5.1 and programming in SAS 9.2 or greater (preferably 9.4) • Performs data analysis using database query tools • Ability to understand data relationships and transform into reports, work with database management software such as SQL, Oracle, DB2. • Facilitate business requirement sessions to develop analytical reports for business owners, including conducting analysis, summarizing and interpretation of results. • Three to five years related experience • Strong conceptual and problem solving skills • Proficiency in Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and SharePoint) • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills Desired Skills:   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
