This opening is for data design work on the MIDE data warehouse. Need a senior level data warehouse analyst/modeler who is a self motivator and able to work independently as well as in groups. This person must possess excellent communication skills and be able to facilitate meetings with many business and technical resources. This person could do one or more of the following: gather data requirements from business and technical users for a data warehouse environment, create source to target data mapping documenting how the source systems map into the 3NF integrated data warehouse. This role will primarily be gathering data requirements and doing data mapping/high level design as well as some data modeling. Previous Wells Fargo/mortgage knowledge, PowerDesigner and Teradata experience is preferred. Some ETL or physical DBA experience can be helpful in some of the work we do but the following skills are required * Excellent communication skills - running meetings with senior level managers from the business and technology. Need to be able to take control of meetings and drive things to completion * Source to Target mapping documentation for a data warehouse. Explaining how source data maps into a data warehouse 3NF data model including transformations. * Data modeling experience for data warehouses in 3NF. Dimensional modeling is ok, but 3NF is preferred. * Gathering and documenting data requirements from the business. Gathering data element names and definitions which will be used for source to target mapping as well as building out the data warehouse data model. * Data warehouse design * Wells Fargo or general mortgage experience is preferred * Experience with data modeling tool PowerDesigner is preferred but any data modeling tool is better than nothing.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
