The candidate will work closely with the business line departments subject matter experts (SME) and Information Technology (IT) business analysts to understand broad business information requirements, design solutions to meet those requirements and then execute the design to meet business needs and decision support. The Developer will work closely with other members of the data warehouse team (DBA, Systems Analyst, and Business Analyst) to ensure designs fit into the data warehouse architecture. Serve as a subject matter expert for OBIEE, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle BI Delivers and OBIEE performance tuning of BI Applications 7.9.6.2 in a PeopleSoft environment – HCM v9.1, FSCM v8.9, and EPM v.8.9. Design and develop the OBIEE Metadata Repository including the physical layer, business model, mapping and presentation layer for various subject areas Design, develop and configure Dashboards, Answers requests, prompts, and BI Publisher reports as per user requirements Proactively prevent and support data quality issues, query performance and report assistance through BI user community Administer and configure the OBIEE reporting platform including security Work with SMEs and business analysts to understand requirements and develop the BI reporting solution Actively participate in architectural reviews and provide guidance on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Mentor other team members on the OBIEE environment and OBIEE development process Act as evangelist for BI benefits across the organization; promote BI usage to relevant departments REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 5+ years experience with data warehousing environments and corresponding concepts 5+ years experience developing Business Intelligence solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Strong technical knowledge of OBIEE admin/metadata tools, security, user interface design, development and deployment of dashboards, analytics and performance management reports Proven ability to deliver successful OBIEE implementations including all phases of the development lifecycle (requirements, design, construction and implementation) Knowledge of Oracle database (11g) internals query plans for execution, performance tuning, etc PLSQL programming skills Hands on experience with Oracle OLAP Hands on experience with ETL/data integration using Informatica PowerCenter and knowledge of Ascential ETL desired. Experience with CIS Analytics desired Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques. Excellent communication with both business and technical users Bachelors degree in computer or related field (MIS or Computer Science or equivalent) and 5+ years related experience. Requires strong oral and written communication; strong facilitator and meeting management skills. Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a changing environment.
