Description : This position is a data warehouse developer for the DCF Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) Section TANF and Refugee data warehouse systems. Responsibilities will include assisting in ETL design, as well as development, testing, maintenance, metadata, and implementation of data warehouse initiatives. Candidate must be able to work with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements, and recommend & implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Successful candidates will have proven experience in development of ETL mapping specifications for loading information into the data warehouse and for ensuring reliability of information loaded, seeking continuous improvement in performance & tuning of data warehouse, and ensuring security of data. Closely supervised with some latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires at least 4 to 5 years of experience or equivalent education. First consideration will be given to those candidates that have experience with public assistance systems or large case management, financial or state automated systems (i.e., UI, TANF, TAX). Preference will be given to qualified candidates with experience in DCF TANF and Refugee business areas, prior experience with the WPASS data warehouse, and familiarity with State of Wisconsin data warehouse systems, procedures, and development standards. Ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas: • Knowledge in data warehouse best practice standards • Moderate skills working with relational and dimensional data models • Moderate skills working with slowly changing dimensions • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of meetings with customers and technical staff • Knowledge and skills in the project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support) • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in requirements gathering • Effective interpersonal relations skills, ability to effectively collaborate with others and work as part of a team • Skills in navigating a large organization in order to accomplish results • Ability to initiate and follow through on complex p   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
