Managing CPU,I/O, Spool and memory resources with Assist in Query Banding, Data Lineage for achieving better throughput and runtimes on Datastage, Informatica,OBIEE and SAS ETL Continuously improve and Optimize Performance and techniques with Forecasting Strategies for Applications in Pipeline Work for Implementing HA/DR Strategy on Teradata Appliance Continuously participate in Product Management, Technology Upgrades and Adherence to Newer Trends in Technology Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills, ability to influence decisions based on DE best practices. Work closely with App teams, Database Teams to Adhere Product Specific Best Practices of RDBMS, tuning constraints within the Best Practices Work in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. Work collaboratively with the database operations team and the vendor to resolve incidents and mitigate risks. Responsibility for gathering query, CPU & Disk resource requirements for new applications and extensions to existing systems. Assist in WLM ,PDCR, DBQL, RESUSAGE, and Viewpoint modules. Application Code Review leveraging strong Teradata-SQL writing skills Exposure to Load utilities like TPUMP, FastLoad, FastExport, MLOAD. Assist for implementing retention and archival using TARA for archive and restore. Provide expert consultation to effectively interface with Teradatas GSC and manage service requests, incidents and problem resolution processes Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills, ability to influence decisions based on DE best practices.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
