All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the DSHS. DSHS may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. DSHS will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) Database Administrator shall perform IT activities that include but are not limited to the following: Support application development team in the creation (PL/SQL) and implementation of database objects (i.e. tables, jobs, views, synonyms, indexes, sequences, stored procedures, triggers, etc.). Translate business requirements into appropriate database protocols Ensure that existing relational database standards are upheld including logical and physical specifications Coordinate with other database administrators to review database changes Load data across databases/schemas as needed Tune and debug database objects Support and debug automated database loading processes Ensure proper documentation of database objects and interfaces Deploy database code to multiple databases/schemas as needed * Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 6 Experience with database administration, computer systems analysis or computer programming 6 Experience with data analysis and data fixes based on business processes 6 Experience writing PL/SQL codes 6 Experience with Business Intelligence systems and analytical tools (e.g. Business Objects, Oracle databases) 6 Experience with design logical and physical data model 6 Experience developing stored procedures and triggers 6 Experience Analyzing/Debugging/Fixing database/data issues 5 Experience synchronizing database schemas in multiple environments 5 Experience writing data transfer scripts 5 Experience developing oracle jobs Preferences: Years Skills/Experience 5 Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with people of all technical levels 5 Knowledge of Incremental Development Methodologies 4 Experience working with Government agencies 4 Knowledge of industry best practices and standards 5 Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions 5 Ability to work independently and in a team environment 5 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, users, technical staff and management 5 Ability to manage work time efficiently to complete multiple III.
