You had mentioned the Mechanical group is currently going through a migration of systems. What is their current system and what will they be migrating to? Current reporting and dashboard processes are manual with a combination of Tableau, Webfocus, and Excel 2. Where in the migration process are they, an ETA of the switch over? Immediate change over is necessary. The underlying data is coming from legacy and modern applications, needing to establish a framework to support continued modern application rollout while maintaining legacy historical reporting even after complete migration 3. Does this role involve SQL scripting in the database + Tableau development only, or will ETL be part of the process? Using SSIS or Alteryx? We are filling two roles, one specific to Tableau development the other will focus more on the data transformation. The tool of choice for our project is Trifacta. We understand there may not be experience with this tool, but anyone with experience using Alteryx, Datameer, or any other data analysis should pick up Trifacta quickly. So, we want one developer dedicated to Tableau and the other dedicated to Trifacta. 4. How large is the current team? Team size is 8-10 people. A very cross-functional team to cover all the aspects of ETL and publication 5. Does the team currently have Tableau developers? No 6. Is this for a Senior Tableau Developer role or Junior level?
