Understanding of Microsoft tools is a plus. Additional monitoring and support required for critical processes in Application, Database, Storage and Backup areas. Troubleshooting and familiarity with Middleware components is also required. Responding to alerts from automation and escalation from Level1 Service Desk. Incident, Change and Problem Management activities. Regular communication with other technical teams and the business. Able to Work with Application support, Network Operations and other Support teams. Ability to independently solve system problems and be self-directed, having attention to details and the ability to capture, organize and analyze information. Excellent knowledge of distributed computing technologies in the UNIX/Linux and Windows space. Maintain and manage server hardware and software to ensure stability and availability 24X7X365. Ensure enterprise standards and security are maintained and enforced on hardware/software. Provide knowledge and troubleshooting expertise during incidents and problem management follow-up. Neal is looking for a enterprise Windows admin for a 3rd shift role in EGV. Need to know Windows 2003 and 2008R2 very well but should also know a littel about UNIX/Linux.
