Profile Requirements: • 5+ yrs experience in code migration and service implementation using DataPower appliances • 5+ yrs experience with Network design, DMZ, transaction routing through the landscape using DataPower Appliance X series • experience in providing solutions in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and REST based architecture using IBM DataPower. Working knowledge of F5 security appliance. • Experience developing the DataPower based solution using Web-Service Proxies, Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPG) and XML Firewalls. • Experience on WebSphere MQ technology and integration of MQ with DataPower. • Implementation experience on using digital certificates for SSL mutual authentication using Data Power. • Strong knowledge in XML, WSDL, XSLT, JSON, XML Schema, and XPATH. • Experience and exposure to AWS and API gateways • Experience supporting Production issues with an ability to understand the system logs and system errors. Analytical and logical problem solving abilities. Ability to take ownership of the task and work independently. Responsibilities: • supporting IBM DataPower Infrastructure in a high volume, 24x7 environment. should possess skills to perform configuration, management, and monitoring tasks. • position requires the ability to interact with middleware developers who are responsible for implementing complex policies based on enterprise requirements. • deploy, configure and support application integration of DataPower appliances in non-prod and Production environments. • perform appliance firmware and code upgrades in collaboration with end-users and vendor. • Support application development teams to implement custom developed APIs, interfaces and web services with DataPower • perform firmware and software upgrades • DataPower appliance administration such as : o Securing access to physical device (process) and provisioning for administration. o Defining user roles (process); roles can include administrator, monitor, developer, or even a line of business. Defining users and user groups (configuration). Groups can be directly associated with roles. o Defining how users are authenticated (configuration). o Defining how functional permissions are obtained, whether local on the appliance or remotely (process and configuration). o Regularly review system logs for proactive issue prevention and provide timely resolution to discovered issues. o Strong communication skills, Solid team player and Experienced in interacting with both internal customers and external vendor partners.
