Job Description Developer: Datastage, SQL, Unix, Oracle, ETL

[Note : Local candidates and good communication skills are preferred]

Description:

Responsible for reading and writing effective, modular, dynamic and robust code using DataStage 8.x (with at least 1 year experience with DataStage Parallel Edition).
Responsible for troubleshooting with proven optimization skills: interpreting DataStage log files, SQL / Data validation, dissecting DataStage code at the UNIX OS level.
Understand DataStage abilities and limitations from a scheduling perspective: DataStage jobs vs. sequences, UNIX Cron and UNIX Shell scripting and responsible for selecting the most optimal scheduling solution; can call DataStage jobs from the command line.
Develop code in transformation of transactional data into aggregations and summaries.
Develop, test and validate ETL routines by following Baxter standards.
Conduct unit testing of code and resolve defects throughout the testing phases.
