If interested in any Data Stage Developer opportunities in the greater Cincinnati area, Requirements: Experience with designing, developing, testing and mapping server and parallel jobs using IBM InfoSphere Information Server DataStage 11.5, all at a medium to high level of complexity. 5+ years of experience in IBM InfoSphere Information Server DataStage 9.X+ 3+ years of experience with shell scripting in any flavor of UNIX Proficiency in developing strategies for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism Expertise in designing parallel jobs using various stages like Join, Merge, Lookup, Remove duplicates, Filter, Dataset, Lookup file set, Complex flat file, Modify, Aggregator, XML, MQ, Hierarchical Experience in schema designing for data marts, data transformation and data integration Expertise in designing complex SQL queries in ANSI format joining more than 10 tables with aggregations, partitions, order by, etc Ability to analyze customer requirements and transform them into technical design specifications Experience in production support with quick turn-around time for hot fixes Experience in any of the following will make you a stronger candidate: Oracle PL/SQL development SQL Server development Unix scripting knowledge Enterprise scheduling knowledge Experience developing projects that have high level of complexity, being responsible for structuring the work, prioritizing and assigning project tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues. Experience creating and reviewing detailed technical specifications of high complexity and performing the review of technical design for tasks of high level of complexity. Providing technical approval of technical design for tasks of medium to high level of complexity Experience consulting on the estimates, design preparation and operational support escalations for large tasks of high complexity Strong understanding of IT regulations including SOX, PCI and privacy laws, security methodologies, controls and access. Experience solving highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects. Act in Development Lead capacity for medium to high initiatives, prioritizing and assigning project tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues. Reports status to management and interfaces with other domains, IT areas and 3rd party vendors as needed. Experience leading the definition of processes, development of best practices and standards, and actively participates in new technology, vendor package and tool road mapping, evaluation and introduction. Ensures compliance with performance, security, availability, recoverability and supportability standards and polices and provides monitoring recommendations for tasks of medium to high level of complexity.
