Roles and Responsibilities: -Proficient problem solving and fact finding skills -Well-developed written and verbal communication skills -Ability to define the complete technical infrastructure environment -Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to identify opportunities for reuse and process improvement -Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards -Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary -Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve project activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed -Ability to review technical documentation to verify compliance with client requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines -Participate in 24x7 oncall support Required Skills -6+ years of db2 UDB database administration experience -3+ years of strong UNIX background -3+ years of scripting experience -Strong business/technology decision-making skills -Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Desired but not required: -Experience building Data Warehouses and physical data modeling -Professional experience in the healthcare industry is preferred Qualifications -Relevant Bachelors Degree such as Computer Science, Math, Economics, Engineering, Actuarial Science, or Statistics, or equivalent experience -3+ years of Sr. DB2 LUW administrator with strong AIX/zLinux background -Understand the systems development process and have a solid understanding of business processes -Proven analytic skills and strong judgment, Strong analytical and communication skills; works effectively with others -Strong judgment, and ability to work effectively with team/others and share knowledge to ensure team success -Demonstrated diagnostic skills -Excellent communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
