Job Description : SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED Become a subject matter expert on one or more services and own support activities for these services and regularly work with development teams to establish and improve service support. Aggressively drive issues to resolutions with the understanding of business logic and architecture of your supported services to regularly resolve undocumented trouble tickets. You are able to read and understand complex application code and make approved code fixes to resolve support issues. Regularly contribute to the creation and improvement of all support documentation. Perform code builds and deployments communicating status regularly before, during, and after each deployment. Create and interpret metrics that measure support success and service performance. Develop and refine operational policies and procedures used by your team and internal customers. You work on support projects that are large in scope and participate fully and constructively in the planning of your teams work. You have the ability to write simple and efficient tools to improve operational efficiency. You contribute to design and development of support tools using software engineering best practices. REQUIRED SKILLS ·BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field · 4+ years overall development/technical support experience · Knowledge of Java based technologies · Experience with GraphQL/React Native · Ability to write intermediate level database queries. SQL skills. · Understanding of web services, workflow modeling, web application development, and industry-standard commerce systems · Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills PREFERRED SKILLS · BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines · 5 to 8 years of experience in development/network systems/infrastructure/Production Support · Hands on experience with distributed and/or enterprise applications · Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system · Able to write complex scripts and automation (using any one of Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python) · Excellent verbal & written communication skills · Strong understanding of support processes – handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics · Ability to solve complex problems independently · Familiarity with load balancers, network components and infrastructure components · Strong as an individual contributor creating and managing standard operating procedures and internal processes.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
