The resource will assist with planning, implementation and migration of Financial applications to OCI, as well as support these applications once migrated. In addition, the resource will support Financial applications currently deployed on premises Applies advanced technical expertise to define architecture requirements and establishing standards for design and development in order to promote high system performance, maintainability, extensibility, and compatibility with related systems. Ensures secure, reliable, and responsive database access on premise and in the cloud. Focal point of contact for system problems and performance problems; Design, test and implement all database structural changes; Prepares documentation on cloud environment, as well as operational plans and procedures; May be required to perform shift work and/or may be required for on-call coverage and/or after-hours support. Knowledge: Knowledge of current operating systems used at the IMF: Linux, and Windows. Knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS. Computer Programming Languages: Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages and tools, as well as source code management and code automation tools. On premise and Cloud Application Support: Hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level, n-tiered applications, including deployment, patching/update, and operational support. Experience with Java middle-tier, such as Weblogic or Websphere, is required. Demonstrated, hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience or Oracle certification working towards certification by December 2019. Experience with Azure a plus, but not required. API management and API infrastructure support. Experience with APIs. Database Administration: Experience with Oracle database administration, particularly version 12c. Security: A deep understanding of key security concepts, particularly in a cloud environment and specifically: firewalls, SSO, IAM, SAML, ACL, WAF and related technologies and concepts. In depth knowledge (identification, prevention and remediation) of the Top 10 and most common critical application security vulnerabilities published by OWASP and SANS.
