Responsibilities

Are you a tech & IT geek? We have a 24-month project with our client in NY, NY that requires an Oracle Database Administrator

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data and application availability.
This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
The consultant will lead the strategy, planning, design and execution of upgrading/migrating from Oracle 11g to 12c (Unix/Solaris) and the implementation of a new ODA infrastructure (Linux)

Mandatory Qualifications:

Uses specialized software to store and organize data, which may include capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security and troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field

Preferred Qualifications:

84 Months Experience in Oracle Systems Database Administration
84 Months Experience in Oracle Application Database Administration
84 Months Experience in Oracle Upgrade and Migration Execution
84 Months Experience in Oracle Database Appliances

Languages
Must have

English
Native or bilingual proficiency
