This is unique opportunity for this company related to some major growth and technology initiatives that will result in a large addition to their IT/technology talent headcount. OVERVIEW: The top 3 needed skills here are advanced AWS, DevOps, and Terraform. DevOps engineer with experience building CI/CD pipelines to work in a small team tasked with rolling out DevOps best practices across the organization. Extensive experience with CI/CD delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Interface with our internal IT teams as well as business stakeholders to identify technical requirements for AWS cloud hosting and cloud services solutions. Create and establish cloud hosting and cloud services guardrails, processes and monitoring/control measures to increase ITs cloud operations maturity. Identify and manage support and project work structure, tasks, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies. Work with our internal team to create plans, tasks, time estimates, and timelines for delivery. Build efficient, testable, and reusable infrastructure components. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. Monitor solution implementation process and Ensure that all cloud work is reviewed and meets quality, security & accuracy requirements. Think different! Identify new ways to achieve our goals. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* Most important requirement: An infrastructure-as-code mindset! Minimum 5 years of experience building and managing production workloads in AWS. Deep expertise/experience with cloud orchestration/infrastructure-as-code services. Deep expertise/experience with cloud configuration management and related scaling services. Experience with OpenShift/Docker/containerization. Nice to have: Experience developing “cloud native” applications in AWS (serverless, etc.). Nice to have: AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification. Nice to have: AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification.
