The position is highly technical and balanced between development, engineering and operations roles such as systems configuration management and software development. Candidates are engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include; gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. * Overall IT experience of 8 to 10 Years Expertise in creating CI CD pipelines, developing scripts for integrating the DevOps tools for the creation of the pipeline * Engage with Software Engineering in the design and development of CICD process and tools to reliably manage application delivery * Engage with Production Engineering in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the CICD infrastructure * Improve the predictability and reliability of software releases with the implementation of fully automated immutable continuous integration and deployment pipelines * Develop scripts, metrics, and applications to automate and improve operational processes and availability, scaling, and security of the production environment * Extend the build system for new application initiatives if/when needed. * Become a portal of knowledge by participating in research and reflecting on your findings to communicate efficiencies, best practices and potential pitfalls/drawbacks to ensure continues improvement * Ability to provide leadership in a team environment to meet goals and deadlines * Provide guidance on various deployment patterns to reduce risk and impact. * Closely partner with the security and infrastructure teams to incorporate corporate standards into the CICD and provisioning processes. * Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and application development methodologies as it relates to developing a robust, scalable release management model. Qualifications: * Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred * At least 5 years of experience of closely designing, developing best practice CICD pipelines, test automation and release management processes. * Hands on implementation experience with Continuous Delivery framework using tools such as Azure Dev OPS, TFS, Maven, JFrog, Ansible,Vagrant * At least 5+ years of Middleware/Integration experience(any platform) * Have a good grasp of Linux and Windows systems, networking, and security * Experience managing source in TFS (Azure Dev Ops, branching, merging, etc.) * Experience with Jenkins/Maven/IVY/Ant and plug-ins * Working knowledge of DevOps Utilities, Tools and Frameworks is a MUST * Practical experience establishing DevOps tools, processes and framework is a MUST * Practical experience establishing DevOps tools, processes on TIBCO platform is a big plus * Mentor others on cross functional teams to better manage and CICD workflows. * Strong understanding of deployment of various platforms such as web, windows services, Microservices and Serverless components. * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
