Job Description Architect: DevOps, Ms Azure, IT Infrastructure, Written And Verbal Communication Skills

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Proven ability to build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
Able to easily convey knowledge to others.
Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, and multicultural business environment.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Develop and support DevOps pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and proactive issue and risk management.
Must be able to resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress.
Proficiency in process formulation and communication to others.
Influential person with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Strong grasp of IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures.
Architecting, building, and supporting Highly Available solutions.
Knowledge of assessment and analytical process and practices.
Skill in strategic planning.
Skill in researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions.
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize, and manage complex work assignments and project schedules.
Ability to research, identify, and implement innovative solutions.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently and as a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another related field. 2 years of experience can substitute for education.
2 - 3 years of strong professional experience architecting DevOps solutions, using Microsoft Azure is required.
2 - 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps is highly required.
2 - 3 years of Windows server administration is required.
6 - 8 years of professional experience in Information Systems or another related field is required.
Experience with .Net application development and Azure SQL is highly desired.
Strong analytical skills to determine an organizations needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and evaluate effectiveness.
Ability to categorize work, set priorities, and determine short and/or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
Proficiency in Powershell scripting and JSON & YAML syntax.
Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, relating to Subnetting, CIDR addressing, and BGP. Vendor specific familiarity not needed.
Experience with supporting IT services uptime via strategic monitoring & alerting.
Experience with Oauth and modern JWT authentication scenarios.
