This position will report to the CIO for HHS and act as a liaison between the Technical Project Manager and management teams. General Requirements Required Job Qualifications: • Bachelors degree and 4 years of Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years of Information Technology experience OR 8 years of Information Technology experience. • Experience working with application development and business and technical architecture. • Experience in application and/or product feature design • Experience in application configuration • Experience in application development platforms and/or languages (HTML/CSS/Java) • Experience in cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS) • Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Jira, Git) • Experience in integration technologies (for ex. SOA, ESB) • Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development • Experience in solution architecture • Application domain knowledge • Problem solving / analytical thinking • Teamwork and collaboration • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations • Negotiation ability • Thought leadership – ability to see big picture and lead to a bigger/better solution • Identify proofing Preference will be given to candidates who possess: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems (MIS) • Product-specific application architecture, knowledge of Oracles technology stack • Ability to tie together solutions across systems This position will be expected to: • Successfully partner with technology and business leaders to develop and ensure alignment and coordination of project specific designs with technical architecture disciplines (Application, Infrastructure, Security, Network etc); • Support project teams on functional and technical design activities; • Coordinate the interaction between technical and business subject matter experts (SMEs) regarding the integration of application packages, databases, middleware systems, legacy systems, to optimize agency and vendor resources and product implementation. • Manage day-to-day activities of the project including but not limited to transcribing and challenging vendor statements • Become the single point of contact for all project-related technology • The Tech Lead will be involved in sprint planning, release planning, running daily scrums, performing code reviews, developing task definitions and delegation, providing technical direction on the project and communicating with team members on both progress and roadblocks. • The ideal candidate is as comfortable white boarding complex software architectures with a room full of engineers as they are briefing an executive audience.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
