Major Responsibilities Incident Manager * Provide support after normal business hours (i.e., nights, weekends, and holidays) and participate in a 24 x 7 on-call rotation. * Direct troubleshooting and recovery efforts by the DBAs, system administrators, and other technical Infrastructure teams during a Production incident. * When it is not possible or practical to direct the efforts of other teams, perform the follow-up and escalations necessary to ensure sufficient progress is made towards immediate resolution and longer term root cause follow-up. * Consult with technical experts to identify and correct problems. * Monitor the OSB for other incidents with related symptoms or potential impact to the system * Maintain an awareness of RFC work for the system or for areas relating to Production operations or user impact from RFC activities. * Provide frequent status during the incident to various leadership for outages with user impact. * Provide incident reports for unscheduled system unavailability. * Obtain and/or provide root cause analysis and corrective action reports. * Follow up with appropriate Help Desk tickets, RFCs and other maintenance work to correct and prevent future problems. * Provide other coordinator services when not engaged in an incident. Technical Release Coordinator * Understand and ensure execution of all TCG tasks needed to prepare a system release for implementation (from Requirements gathering through User Acceptance Test). * Work directly with system maintenance, development, testing, and training teams to provide and manage databases and applications needed to support various efforts/releases. * Understand and communicate potential impacts to the project release schedule when changes are requested or approved. * Provide oversight to ensure all environments are configured in a consistent and proper manner. * Collaborate with the TCG Planning and Change Manager. - Plan all TCG tasks needed to support a release. - Assess the impact and risks of changes Modify plans according to approved changes. * Identify environmental conflicts that may occur across planned activities and develop contingency plans when necessary. * Understand the impact of coordinating multiple maintenance and development database regions and application versions simultaneously. * Coordinate planning for region creations, refreshes, and data loads as required to meet release deadlines and ever-changing conditions and requirements. * Lead TCG status meetings. * Gather various project stakeholders and lead technical issue resolution. TCG Implementation Manager * Define implementation plan for all TCG components incorporating hand-offs with other system project teams. * Oversee and coordinate execution of the implementation plan consistently in all system environments. * Collaborate with the PCO Implementation Manager and other project implementation teams. * Provide implementation management for interim and emergency releases.
