Description:

The Vulnerability Management team at Apple Information Security is looking for a talented engineer with experience developing scalable software and automation. Your ability to architect solutions across the software stack will allow us to deliver cutting edge tools to the fast-paced team and valuable data to all of Apple to help secure its infrastructure from vulnerabilities. Do you have a passion for building security products? Are you ready to apply your skills to solving new and exciting problems? We are looking for an engineer that can design and implement security applications, frameworks and automation to enable faster turnaround for vulnerability discovery, detection, management and remediation.

Requirements:

4+ years developing scalable software.
Extensive development experience, with strong coding skills in any programming language (Java, Python, Go and Ruby sometimes, SQL)
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Experience automating workflows in any scripting language.
Be able to react fast and architect effective solutions across the software stack within a short span of time.
Ability to work multi-functionally and collaborate with many teams.
Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Additional Requirements:

Education: BS CS/EE or equivalent.
Experience developing security tools is a plus.
Knowledge of vulnerabilities and vulnerability management tools is a plus.
Knowledge of information security concepts is a plus.
