Duration: 6+ months Top skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript DUTIES: Work within a team of user experience (UX) professionals to research, design, and prototype experiences for interactive user interfaces, meeting demanding quality standards and conforming to various software development and business processes. Responsibilities may include: 1). Under minimal guidance, develop innovative UX designs to meet requirements, including annotated wire frames, site maps, screen mockups, and behavioral/interaction design. 2). Participate in reviewing others UX deliverables. 3). Provide input to design discussions; propose solutions and alternatives. 4). Contribute to UX work estimates; perform trade-offs between design, schedule and cost, and resource constraints, and recommend alternatives. 5). Present work to stakeholders for feedback and approval. 6). Proactively report on progress and raise any issues affecting ability to complete work. 7). Actively seek opportunities to engage with others and to take on additional tasks and responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of recent experience as a UX designer with solid skills in information architecture, user-centered design methodologies and a demonstrated ability to create high-quality UX deliverables. Must exhibit a high tolerance for ambiguity and must demonstrate skills in analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and effective collaboration with others. Expertise in visual design, mobile design, experience strategy, creating interactive prototypes, user testing, and Scrum (or other agile development methodology) is a plus.
