Job Description Engineer: Developer, SFDC, Niche, SOQL Web Services

.The Sr. Developer/Architect will provide technical leadership and be responsible for designing, developing and supporting the technologies and solutions involved in supporting all Sales, Quoting and Order Management teams. This position require strong technical and architecture background in Salesforce.com and CPQ tools. The right candidate will have a functional understanding of CPQ domain in a high tech industry with expertise in the Quote to Cash Process.
What you need to do:
System support for Steelbrick CPQ platform which includes gathering requirements from business and translating them into technical specifications and coding changes
Act as an IT liaison for new product offerings (NPI) & enhancements in the CPQ Tool
Design systems and coordinate the review of specification, user sign-off process and the development of user manuals, documentation, and process flow diagrams as needed
Ensure system integrity, assist in installation, maintenance, testing and support of technical integrations and applications for sales
Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com
Implement, configure and administer Salesforce.com. This includes custom fields and objects, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, process builder, flows, and bulk data load utilities e.g. Data Loader.
Engage with individuals across various departments to develop solutions and resolve problems
Provide prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business issues

What you need to bring with you:
7+ years of SFDC experience with focus on Apex, Triggers, Visualforce development, including 2+ years in technical architecture.
Proficiency in Salesforce.com development environment including Force.com IDE, migration tools, SOSL, SOQL, and web services
Experienced in integration architecture, strong knowledge in web service APIs, governor limits and Code Coverage.
Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Experience with an enterprise scale CPQ application required and Steelbrick CPQ & Billing experience preferred.
Salesforce Developer Certification 401 required, 501 preferred
