We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist, Mid-Level Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Assist with developing, testing, implementing and maintaining desktop, server and mobile GIS applications and workflows Provide GIS training and technical assistance Document spatial workflows, procedures, and applications Assist with the design, construction, management, and documentation of GIS datasets Assist with management of IT infrastructure that supports GIS platform Assist with mapping or analysis needs Respond to GIS helpdesk tickets Support NY State emergency response efforts Mandatory Qualifications: Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms. 36-60 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. Preferred Qualifications: 36 months of mapping and spatial analysis experience using ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro 24 months of experience configuring and administering Esri-based web mapping applications for browser or mobile based solutions 12 months of experience automating tasks using Python 6 months of experience using ETL tools such as ArcGIS Data Interoperability Extension or Safe Software FME to build workflows that extract, transform, and load data Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifiations to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
