Person will be working on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices or precedent. Acts independently to identify and select appropriate methodologies. Work customarily and regularly requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Responsibility: Develop new ETL processes and data transformation in postgresql and NiFi Convert exiting SSIS and other data transformation processes into cloud based postgreSQL using NiFi Provide regular project updates to Information Analysts and management as needed Communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management Document ETL process thoroughly to allow peers to assist with support as needed. Required skills: Four or more years of relevant work experience (Database development, ETL development, scripting) Four or more years of experience in PostgreSQL. Two years of experience working in NiFi. Two or more years of experience working in AWS/cloud based database development. Two or more years of experience with SSIS, MS SQL and overall Microsoft Stack. Experience in working with data automation across multiple environments (ETL).
