The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and show prior work experience as a Business Analyst with extensive skills in system testing. The intermediate business analyst is a member of a full lifecycle development team. They will be expected to work with both the business and technical teams to perform business and systems analysis activities with primary focus on system testing. They will provide testing for development team activities and develop test cases for the business teams. They will work directly with subject matter experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are thoroughly documented within the Test Cases. They will be involved, and work in concert with other team members, to analyze requirements, establish and execute test cases and document defects for the Development Team. 5 Education Bachelors degree or masters degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or another related field is required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the educational requirement. 6 Experience Candidate must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in system testing and documentation. This experience must be in a professional environment where the candidate can describe specific tasks related to their role as a Business Analyst and how they participated in system testing activities. Candidate will be expected to describe multiple past experiences related to testing lifecycle, including techniques and tools used by the candidate to develop and maintain system test cases. 7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The activities the candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Develop Test Cases in support of the Departments Security Identity and Provisioning system. 2. Execute Test Cases to prove System stability, as well as identify bugs/defects in the code. 3. Document any identified defects in Microsoft DevOps and collaborate test results with the development team and team leads. 4. Approve code to be advanced to test environment for User testing. 5. Collaborate with the Functional Team to demonstrate System Features and Test Cases in preparation for User Acceptance Testing. 8 Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The submitted candidate must be able to apply specific knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas: 1. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of System Testing including the creation, maintenance, execution of Test Cases, and documentation of test results. 2. Must have the skills necessary to develop or update test cases based on documented System Requirements. 3. Ability to look for different scenarios that might not have been thought of before. The ability to think out of the box unconventionally. 4. The candidate should be highly adaptable to changes including new technologies, work environment, workload, and deadlines. 5. Ability to prioritize assignments and execute tasks accordingly with focus on crucial areas. 6. Ability to execute testing with short deadlines with complex scenarios to both analyze and document. 7.
