Provide systems/product training both internally and externally Acts as a focal point for large account network problem resolution. Acts as a technical expert for enterprise and Service Provider security delivery solutions. Provides support on a worldwide basis. Typically reports to Manager, Technical Support. Typically interfaces with lower level CSEs, VARs, OEMs & end-users & internal engineering departments. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This CSE role supports reactive case handling for Ciscos LARGEST SP and Enterprise customers with Ciscos security technologies: Firewall: ASA, FWSM IPSEC/VPN: IPSEC, AnyConnect/WebVPN, GETVPN, DMVPN AAA: ACS, NAC, ISE IPS/IDS Other: VSG, Dot1x, DDOS/Guard, CSM (Cisco Security Manager), Cisco Access Registrar, MARS, Wireless Secure Gateway. Candidate MUST possess expert-level experience troubleshooting at least one of the above product categories (Cisco products specifically). Required Skills: 5+ years IP Networking experience 3+ years working knowledge of Security Networking industry, products and protocols Strong documentation skills--to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and training. Excellent verbal communication skills--these skills are essential for this engineering role as most of the work being done is through the phone. Very strong problem solving skills--will be utilized often as this position covers all Cisco Security technologies. Strong understanding of TCP/IP--IP knowledge is critical as it is the foundation for most Content technologies. Working knowledge of handling network down situations--this role will be handling Sev 1/Sev 2 Service Requests with limited supervision. Ability to drive recreates remotely--many issues result in the engineer needing to perform a recreate of the customer problem in order to isolate the issue and resolve.
