Here are some skills needed: This position is part of technology support team that provides Identity and Access Management functions to both UC Davis campus and Health System. The incumbent will collaborate and communicate with various business units, operational, I.T. and other departments regarding new and existing technology systems and department needs. Solves organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements; recommending system controls and protocols. Requirements --Ability to provide a high-level of support and establishing successful customer service-oriented relationship with customers. - Ability to review the existing processes used for computer systems authentication and authorization within a business unit and document current processes and highlight areas where IAM can reduce manual effort or improve overall process. Determines IAM operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats. - Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures. -Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures. -Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users. -Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. --Experience and knowledge working with regulations, business management principles, computer systems and applications. --Experience leading and managing a wide variation of detailed projects and timelines simultaneously. --Demonstrated knowledge of the total computing environment including hardware, operating system software and application software large enterprises. --Understanding legal considerations in maintaining security of confidential information; exercise judgment, tact and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information and situations. --Strong documentation skills and proficient with office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.) Special Requirements --Knowledge and background in statistics and analytics is preferred.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
