This is an exciting, ongoing opportunity with high visibility on a mission critical application for the Dept. of Revenue that has director and governor visibility into the project. This is a multimillion-dollar project that needs a polished business analyst/technical lead to act as a techno/functional lead to this project. The ideal candidate will: • act as the product champion, and will be able to evangelize the product vision effectively to their team and to stakeholders • understand fundamentals of software development process such the fundamentals of the iterative/agile methodology. • proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in technical planning • possess strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a diverse team • collaborate with and present to business and technical teams as well as different levels of leadership The job will require working with existing teams including projects utilizing a mix of vendor solutions and custom development. Preference will be given to candidates with an application development or business analyst background. Keys: 1. Experience with Agile development methodologies 2. Experience with business analysis, creating and maintaining documentation, translating between business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables meet customer goals. 3. Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the business partner and the operational aspects of the project. 4. Facilitate regular status meetings with the project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders. Solicit stakeholder feedback to validate priorities and compromises. 5. Manage risks and track issues throughout the project. 6. Experience leading agile ceremonies including daily standup meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives a plus. 7.
