Item Creation Service for Dynamics AX and ASP.net Web App The Department of Technology Services (DTS), on behalf of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (DABC), is looking for assistance in building an AIF service to collect, validate, and deliver item creation data from an ASP.net web app to Dynamics AX. This service will need to write the validated data to tables established within Dynamics AX. It will need to be an interactive service, and will need to sync after each item creation submission is approved (written to AX production environment multiple times per day). DTS will seek guidance from the vendor on fields required for item creation that will need to be populated in the background, as opposed to solely the front end of the ASP.net web app - ultimately, the development and use of a template is desired. We anticipate unit conversions to be a part of the service as we will record 3 different UOM to every item. Weight is the only physical dimensions used. This service will not only apply to items being created, but also to existing items which need to be updated. What is not required from the vendor/has already been developed: 1. Development of permission structure for access of ASP.net web app 2. Consideration of trade agreements Note 1: DABC is currently running Microsoft Dynamics 2012 R3 CU9 but will eventually upgrade to D365. Any service delivered should be applicable to both environments.
