Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) · This is a Technical Lead client facing position. · This is a versatile role providing technical leadership, process assessment, and development in the Endpoint Management (Desktop Management) service streams for Client. · The Technical Lead role is asked to contribute to the estate of knowledge and process development for delivering Symantec End Point Management Services · The Lead Technical Analyst must be capable of filling in or providing guidance to any member of the team he/she leads. Candidates must have strong organizational skills along with being process driven and conversely, must drive process development and adherence. Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) · 8+ years of information security and network administration experience. · Experience functioning as Technical Lead on large enterprise projects; including working on a cross-functional team in an outsourced environment, managing resources, priorities, and schedules. · In depth understanding of project management and SDLC methodologies; to include development and review of key project documentation such as Requirements, Test Plans, Design Documents, Project Plans, etc. · In depth understanding and experience working in an ITIL based service management organization; adherence to change management and incident management processes. · Technical experience with Symantec Security controls; Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Data Center Security (DCS), Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Endpoint Discovery & Response (EDR), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Data Loss Protection (DLP), and Bluecoat/Symantec Secure Web Gateway & Web Security Service (WSS). · Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audience. Travel: Position can be remote but travel to o client site in Richmond, Virginia. 100% initially for first few weeks then up to 25% ongoing.
